The Officers and Members of the Light of Christ Council of the Knights of Columbus wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Holy Christmas Season.

Thanks to the many, many people who helped to make our Breakfast with Santa Claus a tremendous success! From our members, to their families, to the volunteers, to the students, to the Reading Buccaneers Alumni Brass Band, to Santa and Mrs. Claus, to our generous patrons… a cast of hundreds! THANK YOU!

The Light of Christ Council made and served breakfast for the students and staff at the John Paul II Center for Special Learning on Wednesday, December 5. Approximately 160 meals were enjoyed before the arrival of Santa Claus.

Our All You Care to Eat Family Breakfast with Santa Claus will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 8:00am until 11:00am in the School Hall. Enjoy the sounds of the season presented by the Reading Buccaneer Alumni Band while enjoying Berks County’s best breakfast. Bring a camera to get that perfect picture keepsake.

Council 8726 presented checks for the proceeds from our Fifth Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the November 17 Family Breakfast. Checks were presented to St. Ignatius Loyola School, Opportunity House, John Paul II Center, and Mary’s Shelter totaling $19,000.

We wish to thank all of our sponsors, golfers, and volunteers who helped to make this year’s event a great success!

Our Fall Crab Cake Sale will run through Sunday, November 17th with a pickup date of Friday, November 22nd.

District Deputy Fred Henrich presents Grand Knight Jim Nawa with the Colombian Award for the 2023-2034 fraternal year’s activities. This recognition comes from the Knights of Columbus Supreme Office. Congratulations, Council 8726!
